Remix is the candy bag that is constantly reinventing itself. Each time, with each new bag, you’ll get something new. This time, the brand chose to embrace the darkness: A bag filled with only salty liquorice.

There’s a corner of the internet called synthwave. A special place that evokes feelings of adventure, melancholy, and nostalgia. Synthwave is dark, adventurous, and leaves you wanting more – just like salmiakki.

The campaign consisted of a TVC and social media content.

Influencers

Perhaps salmiakki has a way to transfer you to a different reality. To one filled with rhythmic synth music and neon colors. As a natural continuation of the campaign on social media, influencers got the chance to imagine their own synthwave worlds. The candy functioning as their portkey.

Always On

In addition to the hero animation promoting the new bag, we wanted to highlight the rest of the product lineup on social media. Remix candies are known by every Finn. But could you recognize the bag just by seeing the candies?

My Role

This project was my baby. I came up with the idea, sold it to the client, and was very involved with the production phase. I coordinated closely with the animator and composer in order to create the video and the music, and tweaked them along the way according to client feedback. It was one of the more rewarding moments in my career to see the campaign finally live on TV and social media.
